Some coins are available in proof as well as uncirculated condition. A few older coins are only available in circulated condition. We will not sell coins for less than bullion value and do maintain files on the most current prices.  Prices in these website lists are subject to change in very active markets. This inventory has been building since 1970 and expands with new issues each year. The number of coins of anyone type ranges from single examples to hundreds, depending upon scarcity and demand. Dates in any series may be limited, as it is very difficult to maintain date series since many coins are one-year issues. Other multiple year series have years that did not reach the U.S. Our Zoo Parade lists are issued one to three times each year, and contain our new purchases. Dates are listed for these lists. Most coins are listed by the Krause-Mischler World Coin Catalogue (KM) number, but we also use Bruce numbers, Seaby numbers, and other cataloging systems for coins not in the KM catalogue. The coins are separated by type of animal: Invertebrates, Fish, Amphibians/Reptiles, Birds, and Mammals. Both wild and domestic animals are included in our lists. Our customers include a range of collectors, from the beginning novice to advanced specialists, and many non-numismatists. Many of our customers are interested in one or more groups of animals, and are amazed to find the animal of special interest may be found on a coin or banknote. We maintain "want lists" for those with limited collecting specialties, and notify those collectors directly when we find a coin or note that they need.
